Our services
General Electronic Materials Technology (GEMT) was established in California and funded by a private investment in 1989. The company was later incorporated on December 22, 1989. Our business started with manufacturing board-mount connectors. We later extended our services to wire harnessing, cable assembly, plastic injection molding & parts pre-assembly, and tool & fixture design & building for molding.
Our main office is located in Los Alamitos, California. The local facility includes warehouse, R&D, test equipment, prototype preparation, and a small assembly line for small to moderate scale sample production. Primarily our products are manufactured in our factories in Taiwan & China. Our factories are ISO-9001 QC system certified, and all products use UL certified (and many other international certificates) materials and compliant to RoHS III requirements.
The primary goal of GEMT is to provide comprehensive data interconnection solutions for computers and related industries. Many engineers use our products as a tool in projects of developing, securing, or solving data transmission, data receiving, data propagation, and data exchange.
Our business has a commitment to supporting customer’s needs in connectors, data interconnection, and related hardware. We do so by collaborating with customers, evaluating the project physical environments, and choosing appropriate materials based on customer’s requirements and according to the technologies and specifications available in the market (or considering a brand-new development via OEM/ODM schemes). As a whole, GEMT is constructing a business platform which consists of an executive team, an engineering team, the customers, and our factories. Using this structure, our customer’s ideas are developed and solidified. From brainstorming to proposal writing, and from adding modifications to any exchanges, we communicate and work closely with you. With our process and your ideas, we help pave the road that leads to an AI, AR/VR/MR world enriched by the robotics production industry.
